Part-time students begin external supervision in the Third year when they are allocated a supervisor to facilitate with case analysis and
management. The Centre requires a minimum of 10 hours supervision in the Third year and 12 hours in the Fourth year.
Full-time students begin external supervision in the Second year when they are allocated a supervisor to facilitate with case analysis and
management. The Centre requires a minimum of 10 hours supervision in the Second year and 12 hours in the Third year.
Students receive a lecture on all aspects of supervision and are given a list of recognised supervisors. The financial arrangement is
determined between the student and the supervisor, although the cost is covered by consultation fees received from patients.
