The Centre trains homeopathic practioners in an integrated style of homeopathy. Our aim is to produce the highest quality practioners. We are now the largest homeopathic college in the UK, having incorporated the College of Homeopathy in February 2003. The Centre combines two styles of homeopathy: Classical and Practical homeopathy to provide a more rounded and appropriate training for future practioners.   Centre for Homeopathic Education, London

The idea of going back to study...

.... after 20 years was quite daunting so, I set out to find the college which I felt would support and train me best, to be a confident and competent homeopath.

Your college has convinced me most that you have clarity and a focussed structure for training and meeting the needs of a student homeopath. You seem very driven, enthusiastic and supportive of students to excel and succeed. The course outline seems more cleverly conceived and thorough compared to others I have read. The energy and pleasure teachers convey is contagious. Students seem very happy, enthusiastic and confident. There is a fantastic variety of teaching styles making the prospect of studying more accessible, exciting and inspiring.

In the classroom

The college is very well run and friendly. Gordon, Marcus and Lorraine made me feel very welcome with all my questions. As the Principal, Gordon has been outstanding with the time he has given to me during his teaching days.

I think having the clinic at the Healthy Living Centre is a huge bonus for the students. I like the way the First year students are in one group to begin with so they get to know each other and then split into smaller groups for the following years.

Student experience of the course.

‘Choosing to study homeopathy at CHE was one of the best decisions I made in my life. The curriculum and quality of teaching is inspiring: thorough without being burdensome; eclectic without being wacky; fun without being trivial.

It is a relaxed, informal and highly supportive environment; as holistic as it’s teaching, where the staff (including many acolytes of the homeopathic world) are flexible, approachable and treat students as partners, not pupils and where there is a genuine feeling of mutual respect.

The two and a half years of clinic is a unique opportunity to do hands-on learning under careful supervision.  Students are encouraged from the outset to take on patients of their own, again under an established supervised structure which allows students to spread their wings at their own pace.

At the end of four years it produces confident, caring, experienced homeopaths, many already having set up flourishing practices’.
