The Centre trains homeopathic practioners in an integrated style of homeopathy. Our aim is to produce the highest quality practioners. We are now the largest homeopathic college in the UK, having incorporated the College of Homeopathy in February 2003. The Centre combines two styles of homeopathy: Classical and Practical homeopathy to provide a more rounded and appropriate training for future practioners.   Centre for Homeopathic Education, London

ASSESSMENT
An opportunity to monitor progress
Middlesex University logo

The purpose of assessment is to provide the college with an understanding on how the student is progressing through the course. Assessment is viewed as a mutual participation between the college and the student, guiding the development of the student to become a qualified practitioner.

The practitioner development module gives the student clear guidelines of what is expected in each area of the course.

Written and oral feedback provides guidance for the student with regard to the content and quality of their work.

Assessment in the classroom

Assessment takes place in a variety of formats:

  • written assignments
  • casework
  • short tests
  • self-assessment
  • clinical assessment
  • personal interviews

Each assessment is discussed prior to being set, allowing the students to clarify what is required and the relevance of the work. Students regard assessments as an opportunity to monitor their progress through the course and also reflect on previous work.
