FAQs
Q What qualifications do I receive?
A As a graduate of the full or part-time BSc course you're awarded a BSc (Hons) in Homeopathy, validated by Middlesex University. In addition you get a Licentiate (a licence to practise) which CHE awards. You're entitled to use BSc (Hons) LCHE after your name.
If you take the Licentiate course, youre awarded our LCHE, which you're entitled to use after your name.
Q Do these qualifications allow me to register with a professional homeopathy organisation?
A Yes. The Society of Homeopaths, the Alliance of Registered Homeopaths and the Homeopathic Medical Association are the main registering bodies in the UK.
Q How much home study is required?
A Assignments usually involve 15-20 hours of study per month. You may choose to spend longer as you become keen to learn more about homeopathy!
Q How long are the courses?
A The part-time courses are four years; or three years full-time. The BSc direct entry top-up for registered homeopaths is a one year part-time course.
Q What does part-time/full-time mean?
A The four year part-time courses run for 10 weekends a year, one weekend a month, from September to June. Clinic attendance requires one extra full day a month.
The one year BSc direct entry top-up is part-time and follows the same dates as the BSc part-time course.
The three year full-time courses run for two days a week, three weeks a month over three terms, from October to June. Clinic attendance is included in the teaching days. It begins in the last term of the first year and finishes in the third year.
Q Are there any exams?
A The BSc courses have an academic focus and therefore exams are required to assess your progress. Other assessments are written, oral, theoretical and practical. Assessments for the Licentiate courses are more vocational.
Q Are there any grants available?
A If you're a full-time BSc student and haven't previously studied for a degree, you might be eligible for support from your local education authority. You might also be able to apply for charitable grants or student loans from different financial institutions. Find out more about student finance >
Q Can I visit the College?
