First year

The Centre for Homeopathic Education -  BSc part-time first yearThe course begins in the first year where you'll be given a vital and solid base in homeopathic principles and philosophy.
 
You'll also study some well-known homeopathic remedy pictures (materia medica), and begin case taking and analysis, medical sciences and practitioner development. Homeopathic remedy pictures (materia medica) form a central core to the syllabus, giving a holistic insight into the dis-ease process of the individual.
 
You'll learn how to apply case-taking skills to both acute and chronic cases - learning the classical method as the basis for case analysis and prescribing. The medical sciences curriculum runs concurrently with the homeopathic syllabus, allowing integration between these two complementary areas.
 
The emphasis during this year is to combine inspirational learning with enjoyment of the course.
